Gwendolyn (Wendy) Bounds is senior vice president and head of content for the WSJ Leadership Institute where she leads content strategy and partnerships for the Institute’s C-suite councils. She is also founder and host of the Institute’s “Executive Resilience” programming, which helps leaders build physical and cognitive strength to live and lead better, longer.

An award-winning journalist, author and speaker, Bounds held top leadership roles at Consumer Reports and SmartNews, a Tokyo-based news tech startup. She spent two decades at The Wall Street Journal in multiple editorial leadership and content development roles earlier in her career, while also appearing regularly on TV networks including ABC News and CNBC.

In recent years, Bounds has become a competitive obstacle course racer and written a book on her journey: “Not Too Late: The Power of Pushing Limits at Any Age.”
